WooCommerce Agency
A WooCommerce Agency That Owns the Hosting Bill and the Revenue Number
Management, marketing, development and creative for WooCommerce stores — from a team that treats the server, the plugin stack and the conversion rate as one connected problem, because on WooCommerce they are.
- Hosting, caching and plugin discipline handled by the same team running your ads
- Content and commerce planned together, which is the reason to be on WordPress at all
- Reporting on revenue, contribution margin and repeat rate — not plugin dashboards

The Problem
WooCommerce challenges we solve
WooCommerce gives you complete control, which means it also gives you complete responsibility. Most of what goes wrong is a decision nobody consciously made.
Plugin sprawl
Thirty-eight active plugins, four doing overlapping jobs, two abandoned by their developers, and nobody willing to deactivate any of them to find out.
A store that got slow
Page-builder markup, unoptimised images and no object cache. Six-second mobile loads that no amount of ad budget can outrun.
Hosting chosen on price
Shared hosting with a PHP worker limit that throttles checkout the moment a campaign lands, which is exactly when it matters.
Security and update anxiety
Updates deferred because the last one broke checkout, so the store now runs an outdated stack nobody wants to touch.
A bloated database
Years of transients, revisions, expired sessions and orphaned meta, with wp_options queried on every single request.
Catalog that fights back
Attributes, variations and categories set up inconsistently at launch, so filtering, feeds and reporting have been unreliable ever since.
SEO that stalled
A blog that ranks and product pages that do not, because content and commerce were treated as two separate projects.
Checkout friction
A long default checkout with no express wallets, no address autocomplete and shipping cost revealed at the last possible moment.
No staging, no process
Changes made live on a Friday. No version control, no staging environment and no rollback when something breaks.
Split vendors
A host who blames the theme, a developer who blames the plugins and an agency who blames the site. Nobody owns the outcome.
One-and-done customers
Strong acquisition, weak repeat. No lifecycle automation, so every order costs full price to win.
Scale it cannot carry
A configuration fine at 300 orders a month that falls apart at 3,000, because nothing was ever load tested.
What We Do
Our WooCommerce services
Eight services across the whole store. Each links to the specialist page where the method lives — this page is about how they behave on WooCommerce specifically.
01
Day-to-day store, catalog, merchandising and operational management on a documented weekly rhythm.
02
Integrated acquisition and growth across search, paid, social, email and content.
03
Technical, category, product and content optimization — the one place WordPress gives you a genuine structural advantage.
04
Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max and Meta, running off a product feed that is actually maintained.
05
Product pages, navigation, cart and checkout optimization, tested rather than assumed.
06
Lifecycle marketing and automation that makes the second order cheaper than the first.
07
Themes, custom functionality, hosting, integrations and the performance work that keeps it fast.
08
Product, campaign and performance creative, plus the editorial content WordPress is built to carry.
Not sure where the money is leaking? A WooCommerce audit covers all eight plus hosting and the plugin stack. Package detail is on the pricing page.
Operations
WooCommerce store management
Everything that has to happen every week whether or not anyone has time for it. Documented, scheduled, and visible to you on a shared board.
Products & Catalog
- Product updates, launches and end-of-life handling
- Categories and tags kept to a defined taxonomy rather than growing wild
- Merchandising — featured products, bundles, upsells and cross-sells
- Attributes and variations standardised so filtering and feeds behave
Store Operations
- Store administration, tax, shipping zones and payment settings
- Promotions, coupons and campaign landing pages
- Content updates — pages, blog, banners and navigation
Maintenance & Optimization
- Core, theme and plugin updates applied on staging first, then live
- Backups, uptime monitoring, security scanning and malware response
- Database hygiene, object caching and Core Web Vitals monitoring
Reporting
- Sales by channel, category and product with period comparison
- Store performance — conversion rate, AOV, sessions and repeat rate
- Growth opportunities sized by likely impact and effort
Same operating model as our eCommerce management service, with the maintenance obligations WooCommerce adds and Shopify does not.
Growth Model
WooCommerce marketing & growth
Three lanes, three outcomes. On WooCommerce the first lane has an advantage most stores never use: WordPress was built to publish, so organic content and commerce can share one site rather than two.
SEO
Google Ads
Meta Ads
Content
Traffic
Qualified sessions from commercial and research intent, with editorial content and product pages linked into one architecture instead of two silos.
CRO
UX
Product pages
Conversion
More of that traffic buying, from research-led work on category pages, PDPs, cart and a checkout that WooCommerce lets you rebuild properly.
SMS
Retention
Repeat Revenue
Second and third orders won without paying for the click again, which is what makes the acquisition maths work.
Detail on each lane lives on eCommerce marketing, CRO and email & retention.
Build
WooCommerce development & technology
On WooCommerce the infrastructure is yours, so it has to be someone’s job. Here it is ours, and it is planned around what the store has to do commercially.
Ten areas we work in on WooCommerce. Hosting and the plugin audit are where most engagements start, because they are usually where the money is quietly going.
- WooCommerce store development — new builds from scoping through launch
- Theme development and customization, block themes or classic
- Store redesign with existing analytics and conversion data as the brief
- Migrations to and from Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce and custom carts
- Custom plugins and features built properly instead of bought badly
- Plugin stack audit, consolidation and replacement of abandoned tools
- API and system integrations — ERP, 3PL, POS, CRM and subscriptions
- Hosting specification, migration, caching, CDN and object cache setup
- Performance optimization against Core Web Vitals and real device data
- Security hardening, HPOS migration, staging workflow, backups and monitoring
The full engineering process, stack and QA approach sits on our eCommerce development & technology page.
Conversion
WooCommerce CRO & customer experience
Every step leaks. We measure which one leaks most before changing anything — and on WooCommerce we can actually rebuild the step that is leaking, rather than working around it.

- Navigation and menu structure
- Product discovery, search and faceted filtering
- Category page layout, content and sort logic
Product
- Product page structure and content order
- Imagery, variation selection and stock messaging
- Trust elements — reviews, guarantees, delivery promise
Mobile & Cart
- Mobile UX, tap targets and sticky add-to-cart
- Cart page or drawer, and the continue-shopping path
- Upsells and cross-sells that do not interrupt the flow
Checkout & Testing
- Checkout rebuild — fields, steps, wallets and shipping clarity
- A/B testing with a stated hypothesis and a stop rule
- Rollout, monitoring and documentation of what changed
WooCommerce checkout is fully editable, which is an advantage and a trap. We change it against evidence, using the method on the CRO page.
Stack
WooCommerce plugins & integrations
We are vendor-neutral. The right stack is the smallest one that does the job — every plugin is a query, a security surface and a renewal.
Marketing
- Email & SMS platforms
- Reviews and UGC
- Loyalty, referrals and affiliates
Analytics
- Tracking and server-side events
- Reporting and dashboards
- Attribution and post-purchase surveys
Operations
- Inventory and purchasing
- Shipping, rates and labels
- Fulfillment and 3PL connections
Customer Experience
- Site search and filtering
- Personalization and recommendations
- Support, helpdesk and returns
Business Systems

- Accounting and reconciliation
Every engagement starts with a plugin audit. Across the last five WooCommerce stores we took on, the average removal was fourteen plugins with no loss of function.
How It Works
Our WooCommerce growth process
Six steps. On WooCommerce the audit has to cover infrastructure as well as marketing, because the server is often the thing capping the conversion rate.
01
Audit
Store, catalog, SEO, paid media, CRO, retention, plus hosting, plugins, database and security. You keep the document either way.
02
Identify Growth Opportunities
Everything the audit found, sized by likely revenue impact and effort, so sequencing is argued on evidence rather than preference.
03
Build the Strategy
A twelve-month plan with a detailed first ninety days, named owners, a measurement framework and the numbers we expect to move.
04
Implement
Weekly delivery against a shared board, with all development going through staging and version control before it goes live.
05
Measure & Optimize
Monthly reporting on revenue, conversion rate, AOV, repeat rate and channel contribution, plus what we learned and what changes.
06
Scale
Budget and effort into what proved out, cut what did not, and add channels or markets once the infrastructure can carry them.
The audit covers store, SEO, paid media, CRO, retention and technology together. On WooCommerce the constraint is the infrastructure roughly half the time.
Fit
WooCommerce services by business goal
Start from the outcome you need this quarter. Most stores need two of these, not all eight.
Your goal

Why Us
Why choose us as your WooCommerce agency
Eight reasons you can check rather than take on trust. Ask us for evidence on any of them.
eCommerce-First Expertise
We are not a WordPress shop that also does stores. Every client sells products online, so the pattern library is specific to commerce.
Management + Marketing + Technology
On WooCommerce these three are inseparable. Here they sit in one team, so the hosting fix and the campaign change happen in the same week.
We Own the Infrastructure Question
Hosting, caching, updates, backups and security are inside the engagement rather than someone else’s remit to blame.
Revenue-Focused Optimization
We report contribution after ad spend and COGS, not just ROAS. Less flattering, more useful.
Data-Driven Decisions
One agreed measurement setup, so GA4, WooCommerce and the ad platforms are reconciled before anyone argues about performance.
Integrated Specialist Team
Specialists per discipline rather than generalists spread thin, coordinated by one account lead who owns the number.
Proper Engineering Practice
Staging, version control, code review and rollback. No changes made live on a Friday afternoon.
Transparent Reporting
You own the site, the server and every account. Reporting shows what we did, what it cost and what moved — including failures.

FAQs
WooCommerce FAQs
Eight questions that come up in most WooCommerce conversations. More on our full FAQ page.
Is WooCommerce actually cheaper than Shopify?
The licence is free and everything else is not. Once you add managed hosting, premium plugins, a maintenance retainer and the developer time that Shopify would have absorbed, the totals are usually closer than people expect. WooCommerce wins on flexibility, content and no per-transaction platform fee. Shopify wins on the things you no longer have to think about. We will do the actual comparison for your order volume rather than argue the general case.
Do you provide hosting?
We specify, migrate and manage it, but we do not resell it. That matters: it means the hosting recommendation is based on what your store needs rather than on our margin. You hold the account and the bill, we hold the responsibility for it performing.
Can you take over a site another agency built?
Yes. Onboarding is a two-week audit and handover: plugin and theme inventory, code review, hosting and database review, security check, tracking reconciliation and a documented list of what we inherited. You get that document regardless of what happens next.
How many plugins is too many?
The number matters less than what they do and how they are built. Ten badly written plugins are worse than thirty good ones. That said, across the last five stores we took on, the average removal was fourteen with no loss of function, so the honest answer is: probably more than you have.
Will updates break the site?
Not the way we run them. Everything goes to staging first, gets checked against a regression list covering the paths that actually earn money, then goes live in a window where someone is watching. If something does break, we roll back rather than debug live.
Can you migrate us to or from WooCommerce?
Both directions, regularly. Migrations are scoped as projects rather than absorbed into a retainer, because they carry risk that needs its own plan — URL mapping and redirects, data integrity, order history, customer accounts, and a rankings-protection plan agreed before anything moves.
Who owns the site and the accounts?
You do, always. The site, the server, the domain, the ad accounts, the email platform. We work under our own logins. If the relationship ends, we remove our access and everything stays with you, documented.
Do you work with WooCommerce at high order volume?
Yes, and it is mostly an infrastructure question rather than a platform one. WooCommerce scales further than its reputation suggests when the hosting, caching, database and HPOS configuration are done properly. Where it genuinely stops being the right answer, we will say so.
